Privacy

How Malocchio handles your information. Short, because we do not collect much.

Who we are

Malocchio, 159 Ingram Street, Merchant City, Glasgow G1 1DW. You can reach us on 0141 552 0460 or through the contact details on this site.

Booking a table

Reservations are handled by ResDiary, whose booking form is embedded on our reservations section. When you book, the name, phone number, email address and any notes you enter go to ResDiary and to us, and we use them only to hold and manage your table. ResDiary process that information as our booking provider under their own privacy terms.

Gift vouchers

Vouchers are sold through Vouchable. Payment and purchaser details are handled entirely by them. We never see or store card details.

This website

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising trackers, and does not build a profile of you. Fonts, images and video are served from this site rather than from anyone else, so loading a page tells no third party anything about you.

If you say yes to the cookie banner, we also load Meta’s pixel, one measurement cookie that tells us whether our adverts work. Say no and it never loads, and either answer is remembered so we do not ask again.

One exception. ResDiary serves the booking form on the reservations section, and loading that form lets them see your IP address as a normal part of serving it. It is not loaded at all until you scroll to the reservations section.

Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs.

Email

If you sign up for news from us, we keep your email address until you unsubscribe, and we use it for nothing else. Every email carries an unsubscribe link.

How long we keep things

Booking records are kept for as long as we need them for service and for our own records, and are then deleted. We do not sell or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us or write to us at the address above and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Accessibility

We have built this site to be usable with a keyboard and a screen reader, and it respects your system setting for reduced motion. If something here does not work for you, please tell us and we will fix it.
